Cat mom, chocolate maker, and someone who never expected to become this invested in cat nutrition—but here we are.
This whole blog started because of one very special (and slightly dramatic 😄) cat… Luke.
🐾 Luke’s Story
A while back, Luke was diagnosed with diabetes—and I’ll be honest, I felt completely overwhelmed.
I remember sitting there thinking:
“How did this happen? And what do I even do now?”
Like most people, my first instinct was to follow the standard plan… insulin, prescription food, and hope for the best.
But something in me kept saying:
“There has to be another way.”
So I started digging. Reading. Learning. Questioning everything.
💡 The Turning Point
What I discovered changed everything.
👉 Diet matters. A LOT.
👉 Carbs affect cats just like they affect us.
👉 And what we feed them can either help… or hurt.
So I made a decision:
I was going to take control of Luke’s nutrition.
I switched his food.
I paid attention.
I stayed consistent.
And slowly… things started to change.

Luke went into remission.
No more insulin.
More energy.
Back to his happy, loving, slightly spoiled self.
And let me tell you—there is NOTHING like seeing your fur baby thrive again after thinking you might lose them.

I don’t want other cat parents to feel as lost as I did.
I don’t want you blindly trusting food labels, vets (yes, I said it), or marketing without understanding what’s really going on.
This blog is here to help you:
